Away You Go

A flight booking app for budget travelers

As part of my Chegg Skills capstone, I designed Away You Go, a flight-booking app for budget-conscious travelers overwhelmed by the complexity of planning trips—especially with friends. Interviews with four frequent travelers revealed a shared pain point: finding affordable flights required juggling multiple sites, tracking prices, and coordinating group budgets, turning excitement into frustration.

Usability testing showed 60% of users booked flights in under five minutes, while insights revealed opportunities around feature visibility, destination recommendations, and hotel booking.
